If you are a fan of Lush but not the prices, then I’ve got great news for you. Snow Fairy is one of the most iconic of all the Lush ranges, and it has a dupe. Not only that, but it’s also a really good one.
Candyfloss and Bubblegum Scent
Since its introduction in 2005, the original Snow Fairy shower gel has been a stalwart of the Lush Christmas line. Since then, several other products featuring the scent have also become part of the range. Snow Fairy is now available in bath bombs, bubble bars, body lotion, body scrub, a lip mask, and a bubble wand.
The reason for its enduring popularity is that Snow Fairy smells so good. If you haven’t tried the Lush original, it’s well worth it. Most Lush stores will give you a free sample to try it out.
Unfortunately, Snow Fairy is expensive. A small 100g bottle of Snow Fairy shower gel costs an eye-watering £7, and the large 1kg size costs £39.
The Best Lush Snow Fairy Dupe Shower Gel
There are several dupes of Snow Fairy available – some better than others. But there is one which I think has really nailed the bubblegum and candy floss vibe better than the others – and it might surprise you to find out that it is available at Boots
Treaclemoon Frosted Candy Angel – Snow Fairy Dupe
Frosted Candy Angel by Treaclemoon is a perfect dupe for Snow Fairy and it comes in at a fraction of the price. The scent is described as pear drop, candy floss and strawberry but trust me it smells just like Snow Fairy. It’s also vegan and comes in at a fraction of the price of the original.
A 500g bottle of Frost Candy Angel is just £1.99 and is available at Boots stores in the UK.
Another Dupe by Treaclemoon
Whilst I was browsing the Treaclemoon range I also picked up this Brazilian Love Bath and Shower Gel and I absolutely love it. It’s described as cozy caramel and sweet pistachio and I am reliably informed that is a really good dupe for Sol de Janeiro’s best selling 4 Play Shower Cream. Although the Sol de Janeiro shower cream is not outrageously priced at around £10. the Treaclemoon version again comes in at just £1.99 for 500g which in my opinion is an absolute bargain.
Have you tried either of the Treaclemoon dupes? Or do you any other really good dupes of best selling brands? Have you tried any of our recipes for home made beauty products? Let me know in the comments below.
